Scan on landing, specialist appointment that week, physio pathway from day one. Surgery only if it is the right answer.
Travel insurance covers the rescue. Private medical covers the operation. Nobody covers the ten days in between.
Wrapped up, sledged down, back at the chalet — and then what? Which scan, which surgeon, which city, how soon? That gap is where injuries get worse and holidays get lost. It is exactly where we work.

Most ski injuries are trained out before you leave home. Our 12-week preparation programme — three phases, home and gym versions — builds the strength and control a turn demands, with boot-fit guidance and the 3-minute Ice-Breaker warm-up for every first run.

No — it sits alongside it. Insurance gets you off the mountain; we make sure the right treatment happens fast, with a consultant letter your insurer and GP can act on.
I don’t live near Bristol. Does that matter?
No. The pathway lands you back with a scan and a specialist near home — England, Wales or Scotland — through Nuffield Health, Spire Healthcare, HCA Healthcare UK or your own NHS GP.
Which injuries do you cover?
Every part of you that skiing can break: knee and ACL, shoulder, wrist and thumb, hip, ankle and lower leg, spine and trauma. Mr Putnis is an NHS trauma surgeon who looks after every kind of injury, every week.
How quickly can I be seen by video?
Usually within 24 hours during the season — we hold a slot the moment you call.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes — 18+ only.
